Tasks

-Designs lighting control systems via Bluebeam, CAD, or various manufacturer software. -Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies. -Communicates internally, customer issues and manufacturing concerns. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed. -Travels with company sales representatives and manufacturers, promoting value-added services and introducing new lighting controls products. -Analyzes currently specified controls package to understand what system is being utilized and how to design a comparable alternate system. -Negotiates and quotes pricing for their own projects. -Follows up with customers, securing the job and keeping track of the job status. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed. -Analyzes and defines the market for lighting controls products. -Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch. -Keeps current on new products and services, ensuring to inform employees and customers as necessary. -Conducts training sessions for customers and participates in trade shows/seminars.

What You Bring

-Ability to read blueprints and electrical specifications. -1-2 years lighting controls and/or electrical industry experience. -Knowledge of lighting controls products, applications, and systems. -Basic understanding of quality controls. -High School Diploma required. -Reads and understands electrical specifications on projects to adhere to the correct control standards when designing a system. -65% travel required. -Great aptitude to work with customers.
