Perform first piece and continual inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments.
Work in welding hood, gloves, safety glasses, and other proper welding protective equipment.
Set-up and adjust welding machine to achieve a quality product.
Set-up and operate all Welding equipment and fixtures in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment and fixtures.
Follow instructions from lead person and supervisors.
Request needed supplies for welding department.
Use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects.
Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Instruct lesser skilled employees in the welding area.
Comply with and support all aspects of the company’s quality management program.
Work in temperatures of up to 100 degrees at times.
Perform daily upkeep and routine maintenance, keeping equipment and production area in good working order.

Must have one (1) year experience in welding or minimum of six (6) months as a Welding C.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
