- Commissioning new flow meter installs
- Responding to faults and breakdowns and organising repairs and remedial works
- Carrying out checks on river gauging stations
- Carrying out secondary verifications using a variety of portable meters
- Auditing and certifying flow measurement installations to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards
- checking, calibrating and adjusting electronic sensors, monitors and loggers

- a level 2 NVQ in electrical maintenance (advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the successful applicant).
