  • Lead the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various types of buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate the integration of MEP systems with other architectural and structural disciplines.
  • Getting the designs approved from client / consultants.
  • Perform system load calculations, energy analysis, and ensure compliance with sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
  • Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Providing guidance on design processes and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other design professionals to define project requirements and ensure that design milestones are met.
  • Preparing the bidding BOQs.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns or changes in design scope.
  • Select equipment, materials, and systems, and prepare technical specifications and procurement packages.
  • Assist with procurement and tendering processes for MEP components, ensuring the best value for the client.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance design efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure that designs meet client specifications, local building codes, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, Building Codes, IECs etc.).
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.
  • Review vendor submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design documents.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional MEP designs.

  • Experience with energy modeling and sustainable building design practices.
  • Leadership: Ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
  • Expertise in designing HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and related MEP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Dialux, etc.).
  • Hands on experience in design of systems coming in MEP.
  • Experience: 15 years of experience in MEP design, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work in line with project requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of local and international design codes and standards.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of precision and care in the preparation of design documents and technical specifications.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in managing complex projects from concept to completion, including budget and schedule management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
