Makes basic decisions regarding alternative procedures when information is not given.
Assignments require the investigation of multiple variables with supervisory assistance.
Performs hydraulic calculations and provides direction to technical support or drafting personnel's
Communicate effectively with all H&H Land personnel involved with the project
Assist in managing multiple H&H studies in support of Land Development Projects
Determines additional information that is needed from internal clients and coordinates with them through the H&H PM to obtain the needed data.
Assist in the preparation of drainage impact analyses, and FEMA Letters of Map Change requests
Aid the PM in reviewing project requirements to determine and prepare models for the analysis
Requirements

Experience in advanced H&H modeling, such as HEC-RAS Unsteady and/or 2D modeling is a plus
2+ years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design, FEMA Letters of Map Change, and conveyance analysis
Experience in technical report writing
Working Knowledge in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, and GIS
A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required
Ability to build strong relationships
Certified Engineer-in-Training is recommended
