Machine Operator

Description

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Operate machinery for steel fabrication (plasma table or table saw) and processing tasks
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure precise cutting and drilling as required
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet production deadlines and standards
• Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues with machinery in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with machine control software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proven experience operating machinery
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
