Tasks

-Create Purchase Orders in SAP -Evaluate Vendor performance with help of the requesters -Responsible for following Procurement Procedures -Closely collaborate with Project Control for costing analysis and allocation -Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Research the market for products and suppliers -Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the project data filing systems -Help the Procurement team with preparation of subcontract, service and supply agreements based on existing templates -Issue Requests for Proposal to approved subcontractors and service providers -Maintain and organize all related filing systems based on approved procedures -Issue Requests for Quotation to approved suppliers -Help the Procurement team to issue Change Orders for existing agreements when required -Revise Purchase Orders on SAP when approved -Prepare Comparative Tables and make award recommendations -Establishing of priorities based on understanding of project activities and their impact on future ones -Analyze proposals received in response to RFQs and RFPs -Manage order confirmations from vendors -Follow up for execution of agreements by all parties -Actively follow up with vendors for them to meet delivery deadlines

What You Bring

-Strong computer skills- MS Office, particularly Excel -Technical understanding of SAP and the procure-to-pay process -Of proactive nature and independent thinker with a habit of taking initiative and finding solutions for challenges -Intermediate to high mathematical skills -Willing to take ownership of assigned tasks, from beginning to completion -Able to analyze written technical material of different levels of complexity and ask for clarification when needed. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment and able to multi-task -Ability to do take-offs of quantities based on technical drawings -Minimum two years’ experience in construction industry, experience in procurement favorable -Understanding of “total cost” concepts -Strong organizational and time management skills
