What you would be doing

You will assist the communications function in planning and delivering both internal and external messaging for projects within a building-safety focused division. The role involves providing timely, clear and consistent communications across a range of audiences.

  • Help manage enquiries from the media and elected representatives, producing accurate and prompt responses
  • Track industry news and media coverage, sharing relevant updates on a routine basis
  • Provide support for on-site visits, briefings and events as needed
  • Produce regular reports on communication outputs and outcomes
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of communications activity across projects, ensuring messaging is issued to the right groups at the right time
  • Create information and updates for residents and leaseholders, and support customer-facing teams with engagement where required
  • Write and adapt communications for a broad range of external partners and stakeholders, such as building owners, property managers and local authorities
  • Maintain a professional, courteous approach in all stakeholder interactions
  • Develop content and undertake additional communications tasks where appropriate
  • Assist with internal updates and announcements within the building-safety team

  • Prior experience in a communications role, either in-house or agency, is advantageous

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing ability
