Lead SMR project execution, ITO, PMO, and operational excellence for GE Vernova

Utilizing LEAN methodology facilitate process improvement actions related to project execution and customer engagement to ensure the PM (Project Management) team performs at a high level and delivers world class results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EPC partners, to structure projects that enhance win rates and execution capability.
Effectively and efficiently ensure the turnover to the Order-to-Remittance (OTR) delivery team for project execution.
Work closely with the risk manager and contract manager to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with ITO contracts.
Implement consistent processes and standards for project execution to deliver for customers and partners, following SQDC model and driving favorable margin on projects.
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Lead Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) activities related to SMR project delivery to ensure timely / quality execution, strong customer satisfaction, and project profitability.
Support the Deployment Program Leader in overseeing strategic planning processes, including setting long-term objectives, defining KPIs and evaluating risks for future projects.
Implement and support a structured process for capturing and disseminating lessons learned from projects to inform other projects and future initiatives.
Facilitate post-project reviews and ensure findings are integrated into planning and execution processes.

Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university OR a graduate of the US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program
Large-scale power generation construction project, Field Engineering and/or Contract Management experience.
High energy level, self-starter.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations.
Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills to gain acceptance and buy in from other matrix functions to accomplish improvement projects
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited university or college.
Strong people management, team building, performance management, strategic and operations planning, process management, negotiation, and relationship management skills
This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local
Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
Experience in a customer facing role working through negotiations and solving issues
Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience in Nuclear Energy or Power Generation industry
Strong Portfolio Experience; strategic thinking and problem solving
PMP Certification, Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) Graduate, or other Project Management training
Understanding of large-scale capital project costs and estimates.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages results.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
