Architectural Inspector

Description

As an Architectural Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that all architectural works at the project site are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements on high-rise or residential construction projects.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and site reports for submission to the Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
• Verify completed works and assist in preparing snag lists and final inspections prior to project handover.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure that the works are executed according to design intent and quality standards.
• Review architectural shop drawings, materials, and method statements submitted by contractors for compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the project’s quality control requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in architectural inspection or site supervision, preferably on high-rise or large-scale residential projects in the UAE.
• Experience working with a consulting firm is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
