Provide on-site support as vital, with an average travel expectation of 10%, subject to change based on planned/unplanned activities.
Develop, update, and implement procedures and processes for servicing various turbomachinery products, including other OEM equipment.
Perform reverse engineering of turbomachinery components to **build** replacement part engineering and manufacturing drawings.
Ensure individuals supporting field activities are trained and qualified, **crafting** training programs as needed.
Act as a primary technical point of contact to internal and external customers, including fixing requests.
Support machinery refurbishment, upgrades, and rerate activities by developing technical scope for service activity in both field and service centers, including detailed design engineering of mechanical and aerodynamic systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and customer value.
Participate in Root Cause Analyses and develop technical reports for customers.
Work closely with senior product engineers for effective knowledge transfer.
Develop engineering capabilities for the aftermarket service business, including RCA, FEA, CFD, rotordynamics, and redesigns.
Support proposal development by reviewing technical scope and cost for repairs and field services.
Provide feedback on staffing and resources to ensure customer needs are met.

Understanding of control systems and instrumentation for commissioning and fixing.
Skills in aerodynamic design of components, gas dynamics, CFD, and FEA of centrifugal impellers.
Proficiency with drafting and modeling applications such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
10+ years of experience with turbomachinery or related technologies.
Experience with SAP ERP systems.
Experience with dry gas seals and controls systems for PLC/DCS.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with various bearing types (oil, gas, magnetic, etc.) and fixing rotor-bearing systems.
Familiarity with machinery commissioning, resolving, and servicing practices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Knowledge of design for manufacturability and GD&T.
Strong understanding of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, API, and other relevant codes.
Knowledge of equipment assembly, operation, and maintenance.
Effective communication, documentation, and technical writing skills.
Detailed engineering experience with Rotoflow™ or similar OEM equipment.
Expertise in crafting mechanical and aerodynamic components for upgrades and rerates.
Hands-on knowledge of turbomachinery, accessory systems, and related technologies.
Experience with reverse engineering techniques.
Familiarity with tooling design and proven understanding of SolidWorks/3D modeling.
Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and raise awareness of resource gaps.
5+ years of experience with repair disposition of turbomachinery or related technologies.
