Respond to emergency site maintenance as required.
Work involves planning and layout of work from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal and written instructions.
Supports and assists other department staff and trade groups as needed or directed.

Uses a variety of hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
Will be required to perform various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.
Adheres to the established Chugach safety, personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
May occasionally be required to operate Government or Chugach owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
Coordinates with other trade personnel and the warehouse personnel in the identification of proper and correct materials, parts assemblies, and requirements for a variety of requisitions necessary for the job/task.
The General Maintenance Worker will operate, maintain, repair, and install equipment, components, and systems that support the facility and infrastructure.
Perform on call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
