Tax Manager - Manufacturing

Description

• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients, reviewing federal and multi‑state partnership returns.
• Lead day‑to‑day client tax matters, build relationships, and support partners in service execution and business development.
• Research technical tax issues, handle special projects, and oversee multi‑disciplinary client service teams for account planning.
• Prepare and review client correspondence, including letters and emails, and represent the firm at industry events.
• Train, develop, and mentor staff, participating in performance review processes.
• Maintain technical competency through CPE, firm events, webinars, and industry group participation.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a current CPA license in the practicing state.
• Possess at least five years of relevant accounting or tax experience, with a focus on manufacturing and retail distribution.
• Demonstrated management or mentoring experience and the ability to make strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $106,000 to $160,000, with offers typically below the maximum to allow for future increases, and eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
