Overview

Perform general labor, operate equipment, and handle clean‑up tasks at the plant.

Tasks

-Unload railcars as directed -Operate equipment including the super sucker, street sweeper, track mobile, front-end loader, forklift, bobcat, water truck, dump trucks and other related equipment -Perform clean-up duties in all areas of the facility

What You Bring

-Must work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry and/or dusty conditions and near hot kiln process -Ability to see and hear safety indicators and warnings and will have exposure to all levels of noise, requiring hearing protection -Physically able to climb on equipment -Must be able to walk long distances, climb stockpiles, stoop, and crawl under and into enclosed spaces -Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours) -Must be able to use proper Personal Protective Equipment as required -Knowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibility -Climb stairs and ladders as high as 400 feet in elevation -Ability to walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground) -Physical requirements: sitting, standing, stooping and bending for long periods of time; work in various weather conditions; lift up to 70 lbs. -Able to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team -Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in the English language
