The Property Management team is the heart of MidPen, overseeing daily operations, building relationships with residents, community partners, and Resident Services staff. At Oak Gardens, the team ensures a welcoming environment while maintaining property standards and safety.
Reporting to the Community Manager, the part‑time front‑desk associate monitors building traffic, answers phones, updates logs, and supports residents, visitors, and applicants. The role also includes completing incident reports, work orders, and enforcing community policies to keep the building secure.
- Greets and screens all visitors and guests as they enter and leave the building
- Updates visitor log, daily log and other front desk forms
- Answers telephones, takes messages and directs people appropriately
- Files, prepares correspondence, sorts and distributes notices
- Completes property logs, incident reports and other office responsibilities
- Enforces Community Policies and House rules
- Maintains orderly appearance of front entrance, lobby area and adjoining rooms
- Posts and distributes tenant notices
- Monitors video camera system
Requirements

- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of receptionist or administrative experience
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto‑insurance proof
- Strong commitment to MidPen’s mission and values
- Ability to perform desk‑based computer work and lift/carry objects up to 15 lb

The position is scheduled for 24 hours per week with an hourly wage of $18.02–$20.00 based on experience.
