Join IMEG as a Structural Engineering Intern in Denver, CO for a 10‑12 week program that delivers real‑world project experience. You will contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems for buildings while working alongside seasoned engineers and managing tasks within project budgets.
The role includes assisting in the design of discipline‑specific structural systems, researching project resources, supporting client relations, coordinating schedules with other disciplines and suppliers, documenting decisions and meetings, reviewing project documents for accuracy, preparing addenda, and conducting site observations as required by contracts.
Candidates must have completed at least two years toward a Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent). Preferred qualifications include prior internship experience in building‑design consulting, a strong interest in design consulting, proficiency with MS Office Suite, skills in AutoCAD or BIM software, and clear oral and written communication abilities.
During the internship you will gain hands‑on exposure to structural analysis and design, observe job sites, and see how your work directly supports client goals. This experience builds the skills, knowledge, and professional network needed to launch a career in structural engineering.
