Business Development Manager

Description

• Maintain and oversee accurate CRM data to support campaigns and sales pipeline management
• Identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling and promote additional products to maximise revenue
• Monitor team performance, providing coaching and support to ensure KPIs are met
• Collaborate with marketing to leverage campaigns and ensure alignment with business development objectives
• Ensure compliance with company standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and motivate Business Development Executive teams in the UK and South Africa to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
• Develop and implement strategies to drive profitable sales revenue through effective lead generation and appointment setting
• Report on team performance, pipeline health, and key metrics to senior leadership

Requirements

• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Proven experience in managing business development or sales teams, ideally across multiple regions
• Ability to work strategically while maintaining attention to operational detail
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in the energy industry
• Experience in B2B sales or lead generation environments
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work collaboratively across departments
