Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns
Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material
Acts as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts
Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services
Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order
Requirements

Ability to understand RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
Ability to meet Arcwood Driver Qualifications
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the essential functions and requirements of this role
Hazmat endorsement (required)
