Responsable Qualité Projet

Description

• Analyze contract quality requirements and communicate them to the project team.
• Consolidate lessons learned from previous projects and make them actionable.
• Define the project’s quality assurance and risk identification strategy with the Project Manager.
• Develop the project quality plan and inspection/test plans in collaboration with other functions.
• Coordinate quality inspections with customers and the supply chain according to the inspection plan.
• Manage preparation and delivery of quality records/data books ensuring customer compliance.
• Monitor project performance metrics such as cost of poor quality, non‑conformities, on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and process feedback.
• Handle non‑conformance reports and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the Project Manager in cost‑of‑poor‑quality analysis, claims handling and corrective actions.
• Assist site teams in preparing quality documentation and ensure quality control per customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools.
• Proven experience in project management and customer relationship management.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to travel occasionally across Canada and North America.
• Preferred: experience in the hydropower industry and Canadian engineering licensure.
• Preferred: project management certification.
• Demonstrated leadership, proactivity, urgency, autonomy and strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking and multitasking abilities in a multicultural environment.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset.
