Assistant Property Manager

Description

Managers and Assistant Managers are responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all property personnel to maximize company profits. They motivate the team to drive sales and deliver superior customer service, aiming for high occupancy rates and extended guest stays.

• Serve as acting manager in the Property Manager’s absence.
• Oversee property sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, product quality, revenue, and staff.
• Enforce all company standards and policies.
• Support marketing initiatives and maintain product quality.
• Verify room availability, monitor sales reports, and track employee productivity.
• Ensure rooms are clean, ready for rent, and meet quality standards.
• Collect rent payments and past‑due balances, including late fees.
• Supervise site employee performance and metrics.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through excellent service, clean rooms, and prompt work order resolution.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings.
• Frequent face‑to‑face interaction with customers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (preferred), has at least one year of supervisory experience and two years of customer‑service experience, and is willing to relocate while meeting state and federal work eligibility requirements.

The role requires continuous standing and walking, occasional bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and frequent face‑to‑face customer interactions. Employees must multitask positively in a busy environment, maintain schedule flexibility including nights and weekends, and comply with brand uniform and hygiene policies.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years customer‑service experience.
• Willingness to relocate and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lb.
• Ability to multitask positively in a busy environment.
