Produce regular Revenue/Sales Performance Dashboards for the Product Management team.
Handle daily inquiries from customers and internal departments regarding product issues (approvals, variations, pricing, cost, model numbers).
Work with design team to modify product hardware, software, firmware.
May represent Product Management on cross-functional teams for Process improvements and other initiatives such as SKU Simplification, new product launches or cost reduction.
Gather requirements from customers, prospective customers, internal sales and professional services.
Understand the competitive marketplace and publish tools to help Sales position products.
Ensure work is perormed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and compliance procedures.
Market analysis of competitor offerings identifying any major benefits or gaps.
Define product requirements by researching existing client needs, competitive products, industry trends and utilizing Mircom subject matter expert knowledge.
Assist Product Managers with various elements of Product Lifecycle Management. (Development, Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline and End of Life).
Communicate new and current product features to Sales and Professional Services.
Work with sales teams to position product and support bids and quotations.
Manage the product roadmap for enhancements, extensions, and rationalizations.
Manage the portfolio scorecard, reporting on revenue, margins, growth trends, key wins/losses, quality reports, swot analysis.
Participate in analyzing and designing new product features and enhancements.
Perform system inquiries, data mining and product analysis in ERP (Dynamics AX) and Power BI
Provide analytical insights to help drive the product development roadmap.
Make recommendations to executive team regarding product pricing, market placement, and promotion.
