- Repair carpeting and tile.
- Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots including snow removal.
- Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with directing team members.
- Prepare vacant apartment for market ready condition, may include cleaning and painting.
- Provide emergency resident support and respond to after-hours emergency calls.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with scheduling contractors to perform work on the property.
- Complete all maintenance requests in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers. Service, maintain and trouble shoot HVAC systems.
- Repair and maintain building exteriors and interior common areas.

- Must maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residency.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable.
- Must be willing to travel for training and meetings.
- Must maintain universal EPA designation/certification.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to work overtime and emergency call in.
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
- We are offering a one-time $1,000 hiring bonus for this position (paid after 6 months of employment)*
