Execute utility studies concerning the capacities, energy usage and recommendations for existing operating facilities.
Provide input in the Sequence of Operations for the control of Utility Equipment.
Sizing and selection of major utility equipment including Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, Air Receivers, Boilers, Deaerators and Feed Water Systems.
Provide direction and oversight to Piping Designers on new projects.

Candidates must have professional writing, presentation, and communication skills, and the ability to develop client relationships.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASME and ANSI codes, is also crucial for ensuring compliance and safety in design projects.
The Mechanical Engineer will be subject to jobsite conditions, and therefore should be able to cope with and withstand these conditions.
BSME and active PE registration is required (SC preferred), as well as 10+ years of relevant design experience. Experience with CAESAR II, E3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of stress analysis for steam and hot oil piping.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading teams in a multidiscipline design environment, directing designers, and supporting construction and field operations as required.
This role may require occasional overnight travel to client locations based on project requirements.
