Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
Work with client teams to define and build HMI graphics with the ability to consult in operator effectiveness workshops.
Create and document control and HMI philosophies to meet operational requirements.
Compile data in EDG TECH proprietary automation tools.
Support business development by participating in client engagements, proposals and estimates.
Design and build simulations of process systems to validate controls and train operations staff.
Design and build batch S88, state based, advanced / supervisory controls, logic, and basic control functions.

Seven (7) or more years of technical experience designing and implementing control systems.
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar discipline preferred.
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation which permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations.
May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
Technical hands-on knowledge of related engineering systems, engineering calculations, application of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computer software.
Knowledge of project execution in automation projects.
Strong organizational skills related to engineering activities.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards, and general good engineering practices.
Work is primarily conducted in an office environment but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations.
Working on a construction site or in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Sufficient manual dexterity which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.
May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
Ten (10) or more years of total experience in the automation industry .
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
