The Project Manager assumes overall responsibility for profitable, safe, and timely project delivery. Responsibilities include reviewing proposals, determining cost‑effective methods, selecting and approving subcontractors, and coordinating activities with owners, subcontractors, and company personnel.
Management duties involve supervising staff such as superintendents and foremen, ensuring accurate cost reporting through weekly labor and monthly budget reports, and coordinating estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, and installation functions related to project completion.
Additional tasks include leading regular project coordination and staff meetings, approving subcontractor and vendor invoices, negotiating change orders, managing scheduling and material expediting, overseeing project closeout, and participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience managing large pipeline EPC projects, a strong knowledge of contracts, specifications, drawings, and as‑built documentation, and possess solid estimating, communication, and computer skills.
