Effectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects;
Perform field inspection services, as needed;
Prepare the planning and designing documents of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects in close collaboration with Project Engineers using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment;
Write and/or review draft reports, with support, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports;
Perform zoning and other feasibility assessments for development projects;
Interact in a professional manner with client and subcontractor representatives in close collaboration with supervisor; and
Occasional travel to project sites and/or client locations, as required;

Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
3+ years of experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion is desired;
Associate degree in Engineering Sciences, enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Civil Engineering, demonstrated equivalent knowledge, OR extensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D training;
