Maintenance Supervisor

Description

• Operate under the safety and operating standards as set forth by the Company
• Schedule and delegate duties to on-site maintenance associates
• Create and maintain a maintenance budget
• Assist with the training, and development of all maintenance associates
• Handle performance evaluations of maintenance associates
• Ensure the timely and correct completion of work request and turnover of apartment homes
• Update and file all maintenance records
• Schedule and negotiate pricing with outside vendors
• Maintain the grounds and appearance of the community for the Company, residents and associates
• Maintain sufficient parts and supply inventories
• Complete interviews and assist in the hiring process of maintenance associates

Requirements

• Maintain motivation of associates through positive communication and leadership skills
• Possess a minimum of 2 years general maintenance experience and at least 1-year multi-family, industrial or institutional Service Request experience.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances, pool and spa equipment and other systems on community (gates, phone jacks, irrigation systems, etc.).
• Certified and experienced in HVAC repair and replacement
• Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check is required.
• Must be able to perform all facets of apartment make-ready.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Have the ability to work flexible hours and take on-call duty when necessary
• Basic knowledge of computer and MS Office
• Certified pool and spa operator
