Role
What you would be doing
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and design energy-efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall building design.
- Develop and design integrated mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects.
- Review contractor submittals, drawings, and installation method statements to ensure compliance with the MEP design plan.
- Conduct site visits to gather project-specific information, resolve technical issues during installation, and ensure the accuracy of installations.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Provide technical advice and support during all phases of the project, from planning to post-construction maintenance.
