Skilled Production - Nights

Description

Employees prepare vinyl lineals through a lamination process, cut vinyl and metal with CNC saws and mills, and assemble windows and patio doors for shipment.

• Perform production tasks with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Prepare vinyl lineals using a lamination process.

• Continuously improve processes.
• Assist co‑workers in troubleshooting and correcting job issues per SOPs.
• Stand or walk up to ten hours per shift; work overtime as required.
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Measure accurately to 1/32 in and inspect raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
• Read and follow production schedules, paperwork, and labels.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
• Meet established production rates.

Requirements

The work environment is climate-controlled, with advancement prioritized through internal promotion. Physical demands include lifting 25‑50 lb regularly (up to 75 lb team lifts), standing or walking up to ten hours per day, and occasional overtime. Employees must wear appropriate PPE, follow quality standards, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably two to three years of manufacturing experience. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organization skills are required, along with the ability to work in a diverse team and handle multiple tasks professionally.

• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lb; occasional team lifts up to 75 lb.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 2–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit problem‑solving, organization, and basic conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Work well in a diverse team and multitask professionally.
