To interview / recruit / oversee / manage the Maintenance Assistant/Mobile Maintenance Assistant and Multi site Maintenance Assistant as recruited against the stores they cover.
Carryout first look for equipment such as Fire and Security/ HVAC/electrical and general issues
e.g. repairs to the building fabric and surfaces.
To complete all necessary PPM’s and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and
Complete all induction and training administration, including probationary reviews to ensure that the team are fully competent, and aware of their performance.
Ensure current compliance documentation required for relevant allocated tasks are completed to required quality standards.
To assist other MSTs in other Stores/Regions when requested to do so by the RES

To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
To complete general repairs and maintenance to ASDA store sites as designated by the RES,

To participate in an Out of Hours standby rota (min 1 week in 4) and to complete general repairs to plumbing systems and drainage during Out of Hours Standby

To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA’s
To deliver technical coaching solutions to the standards required, ensuring participation of trainees through active encouragement and support of learning
To provide on the job coaching and support to the team to ensure they are able to perform to the required standards within their role.
To carry out surveys and complete reports as required
To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments, which may include overnight stays.
