- Supervise, assist, mentor, and educate our current staff professionals with project planning and execution.
- With support from existing Team Leadership, focus on business development and technical assistance for our existing environmental service line, with emphasis on quality, safety and profitable growth.
- Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet and/or exceed expectations.
- Independently plan, coordinate, execute and manage both routine and technically complex projects within budget and schedule.
- Utilize experience and project management skills to promote efficiencies and provide value added services to clients.
- Provide project management and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include performing, leading and/or peer reviewing field programs, data interpretation, review of technical reports, and working closely with other TRC sectors (Geotechnical, Building Sciences, Construction Management, and Air).
- Track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and schedules and implement changes as needed to meet project and company goals.
- Apply sound project management and environmental principles and communicate complex issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
- Prepare and peer review proposals and cost estimates to clients to ensure proper scoping of services, assignment of manpower and pricing to meet or exceed project profitability goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the environmental industry.
- Maintain visibility in the marketplace through participation at industry events, as an active member on committee and/or professional organizations.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary and multi-geographic project teams.

- A valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Strong, organizational, problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as a team player to meet client needs.
- Experience in cross/intersecting services including geotechnical, hazardous building materials, environmental health and safety, and/or construction management a plus.
- Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in consulting, which should include significant project management experience, including proposal preparation and budgeting, client development and management, and proven business development skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, which includes the ability to travel out of town overnight, and occasionally outside normal business hours.
- BS in Environmental Science or Engineering required.
- Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) accreditation a plus.
- Strong client and business development skills.
- Alternate delivery project execution experience a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation a plus.
