The Lead AV Technician installs commercial and professional audiovisual equipment, working closely with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with excellent quality.
- Perform installation work with detailed technical knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with the project manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and budget compliance.
- Serve as the main on‑site customer contact for questions and concerns.
- Read and implement construction and signal flow drawings.
- Maintain high workmanship standards in cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.
- Test completed systems for engineering specifications and operational functionality.
- Troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise.
