ERMCO is hiring a Machine Operator for the Amorphous Core Annealing department on the 1st shift. The role involves loading and unloading racks, preparing cycles, operating and monitoring the furnace, and handling materials.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, basic computer and communication skills, and the ability to work with basic math concepts. Forklift operation training and certification are provided, and Excel skills are preferred.
Physical demands require frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 70 lb, and abilities such as close and distance vision. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, humidity, fumes, extreme heat, and a risk of electrical shock.
