Responsible for all project deliverables, including the review, approval, and stamping of final plan sets for quality assurance and control.
Provide direction and coordination to less experienced engineers, PEs, EITs, and designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Lead advanced project pursuits and interviews and perform due diligence and feasibility studies for prospective projects.
Conduct market research on new technologies and best practices in roadway design to lead knowledge sharing and create new standards and workflows.
Oversee specialty transportation projects and provide in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to DOT standards.
Prepare technical reports such as hydraulic and utility reports and represent the firm at public agency and project team meetings.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects under $200k independently, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to serve as an expert witness if required.
Professional knowledge and experience with Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer, and Bluebeam are essential.
Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
12-15 years of experience in planning and/or final design projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
