Night Concierge

Description

The Night Receptionist role ensures a seamless transition from day‑to‑night community operations, delivering a 24/7 resident experience that meets the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service. The position acts as a front‑line point of contact for residents, handling key management, lockouts, enquiries, and complaints while supporting occupancy goals and community engagement.

• Provide 24/7 reception, administration, and customer service, including key management and lockout assistance.
• Enforce company policies such as guest procedures and out‑of‑hours check‑in/check‑out.
• Respond to booking enquiries and support community occupancy targets.
• Assist with social events to promote resident engagement and retention.
• Communicate handover information between day and night teams effectively.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain common amenity areas, performing minor cleaning, litter picks, and spill removal.
• Handle minor maintenance tasks and report tenant faults, including basic lock, heating, power, and leak issues.
• Ensure safety and security, respond to maintenance calls, and log incidents.
• Coordinate with emergency services and maintain security handover documentation.
• Foster positive relationships with neighbours, local authorities, and community services.
• Conduct regular room and communal area inspections.

Requirements

• Hold a good general education with strong written and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety policies; IOSH or NEBOSH training preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service experience in accommodation, hospitality, or similar environments.
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills across diverse audiences.
