Maintenance Technician I

Description

As a technician you will complete resident work and service order requests promptly, maintain grounds, clubhouses, buildings, pools and common areas to company standards, and keep your work area clean while using tools safely. You will rotate emergency service calls, handle seasonal tasks like pool maintenance and snow removal, and maintain curb appeal by managing pet waste stations and trash removal.

• Complete resident work and service order requests promptly, delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Maintain community grounds, clubhouses, buildings, pool, and common areas to company quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and use tools/equipment safely according to safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergency service calls on a rotating schedule and perform seasonal tasks such as pool maintenance and snow removal.
• Ensure community curb appeal by cleaning pet waste stations, removing trash, and operating trash compaction as needed.

Requirements

The Facilities & Maintenance team seeks a Maintenance Technician I to enhance resident and community experience through values‑based service. In this role you will perform a wide variety of general maintenance repairs and services for an assigned community.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of residential apartment or facilities management experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience. Strong customer service, time‑management, attention to detail, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills are essential, along with the ability to operate tools safely and a valid unrestricted driver’s license for company equipment.

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license; able to operate golf carts and maintenance vehicles.
