  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Participate in data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with all levels throughout the enterprise to complete risk assessments of existing technology assets, new technology evaluations & deployment projects, and vendor contracts.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Work closely with IT technical teams (Service Delivery, Operations, DevOps) to facilitate the secure design and implementation of new IT systems (servers, user devices, applications, infrastructure) and processes
  • Review & advise on IT related contract requirements.
  • Monitor and prepare reports on risk levels, assessments and compliance status.
  • Develop, update, maintain & regularly review IT security policies, standards and procedures, ensuring policies align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Obtaining Level II (Secret Clearance) with the Government of Canada, supported by EllisDon as an asset.
  • Experience supporting government \ federal sensitive projects
  • Experience working in Information Security \ Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Able to work in the EllisDon Mississauga Office (1004 Middlegate Rd #1000, Mississauga, ON L4Y 1M4) or from the London Office (2045 Oxford St E, London, ON N5V 2Z7)
  • Post secondary education in IT, Information \ Cyber Security, or relevant industry experience
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Understand relevant regulations, industry standards and government contract IT security requirements.
  • In-depth working knowledge of industry frameworks & certification, including NIST
  • Strong interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years' related work experience
