- Provides guidance to all levels of management regarding utilization of appropriate practices in conjunction with regulatory requirements and changes, if necessary
- Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Enforces and implements applicable health and safety procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Enforces and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections, safety and environmental; making recommendations where applicable.
- Ensures that safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Maintains records for all safety and environmental requirements.
- Ensure that all Industrial Hygiene requirements are satisfied.
- Monitors compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
- Prepares and schedules training to cover all environmental compliance requirements.

- 2+ Years Knowledge of OSHA regs, NFPA 70E and Industrial Hygiene Best Practices. required
- 2+ Years Knowledge of Air and Water regulations from the EPA and the TCEQ preferred preferred

- 2+ Years Extensive knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and policies required
- Associates Related Field or Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
