  • Lead and mentor a team of Vice Presidents, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies to ensure successful project outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide policies and frameworks to support consistent and effective contract management practices.
  • Provide executive leadership in the completion of development projects at various stages of the development process through to the post closing and contract management stage directly negotiating, planning and analysing or coordinating the work of colleagues to complete the transactions to the contract management stage.
  • Build a team of Development and Real Estate professionals to establish processes, procedures, governance structure and industry relationships for the contract management of complex Development projects and service agreements.

  • Proven ability to manage high-value contracts, navigate regulatory environments, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant education and professional certifications in Real Estate, Development, Project Management, Law, or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in effectively leading a large team of multi-disciplined professionals who deliver on very large volume of activities, which requires a deep understanding of all functions.
  • Ability to assemble and influence a broad range of internal and external real estate disciplines to deliver on the potion's mandate.
  • Extensive experience in development project implementation, municipal planning, contract management, and strategic leadership within complex organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in intercepting and applying a myriad of legislation including but not limited to Planning, Zoning, Building Code, Transportation and Valuation
  • Public Sector/and or experience working in Asset Management, Development and Real Estate in the broader public sector of a minimum of 10 years
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams and driving organizational change.
  • Experience in converting often vague direction into concrete executable transactions within the division to deliver on project milestones and outcomes.
