Arcadis is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to support our Semiconductor sector in the US. The Project Manager plans and organizes all architectural and engineering functions specific to each project, coordinates and manages interaction between project teams and clients and change control and monitors project design. Providing guidance on technical resource loading for projects in semiconductor, advanced technology, research & development, specialty chemical or other similar industries.
- Responsible for the project management of various size projects up to large capital-intensive high complexity projects.
- Properly identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate.
- Proactively report and present project status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the design discipline managers, design project execution manager, and quality manager to develop project quality and execution plans.
- Represent the firm with clients, partners, industry associations, and peers including participation in events, conferences, and publications.
- Provide overall leadership internally and externally for projects.
- Successfully manage changes on projects.
- Foster and implement lean execution methods for effective collaboration and progress tracking.
- May be assigned line management responsibilities of a team of design project managers.
- Create and meet all project milestones and financial commitments.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- Prepare proposals, develop and maintain project resource plans, and establish project budgets
- Develop and successfully manage project execution plans including definition of scope, schedule, communication tools, software tools, deliverable distribution lists.

Proven success working for an A/E or EPCM company in a similar role, supporting projects related to cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fab, data center, solar manufacturing, and related advanced process industries is highly desirable. Proven success managing, leading, and mentoring subordinate project managers to be successful during all phases of their own projects.
- Professional Engineer license or A.I.A., preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
- Strong attention to detail and possess excellent written and communication skills, be well organized, engaged, flexible and self-motivated.
- Must have 10-15 years of Design Management in Semiconductor Industry.
- Proficient in project accounting and working with project controls for profit, loss, and earned value reporting.
- Software Skills should include Microsoft Office Suite and Project, Procore, Bluebeam, , and Video Conferencing Software, along with other applicable project management software applications.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents, financial reports and legal documents.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering or Engineering Management plus ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Management Professional credential preferred but not required.
