In this role you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for network and SD WAN related issues, as well as assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This position requires a deeper understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including the ability to diagnose complex network issues, configure network devices, and optimize network performance. The Network L2 Engineer will be responsible for handling escalated issues from the L1 team and ensuring high levels of service uptime and network efficiency.

  • Installation of new hardware and software integration into the network including testing and implementation.
  • Responsible for identifying permanent fixes and workarounds for known errors and unresolved complex issues.
  • Mentor the Level 1 engineers in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Implement capacity management processes for enterprise network backhaul devices.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports and Inventory verification.
  • Provides or coordinates with outside vendors/ ISP (as necessary) the installation of Network Devices In the network.

  • Desirable to have knowledge on one or more of these Security layer systems palo Alto, FortiGate, Colortoken, Tufin, foreScout NAC, Micro segmentation.
  • Understanding of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Function Virtualization).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and virtualized network environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware).
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
  • You should have worked as a Sr. System Integration Engineer / Network Administrator & acquired hands-on experience in the above areas in large & complex setups.
  • Desirable to have knowledge of one or more of these Load Balancers F5 BIGIP, LTM/UTM or Radware.
  • Effective team player, ability to initiate and establish good relationships with internal partners Operations, Facilities, products / Solutions Engineering, and other Engineering team members.
  • Must be customer oriented with excellent blend of technical knowledge, vendor equipment Capabilities, Innovative solution design abilities, documentation skills and SLA understanding are required.
  • Network IP address design, Network Optimization and QoS Management.
  • Should be proficient-skilled in Managing Large Networks including Routing, Switching, Load Balancers, Security infrastructure elements.
  • Routers, Switching, Security and Wireless infrastructure management & configuration.
  • 3-5 Years Experience
  • Load Balancer and VCast infrastructure management & configuration.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Enterprise environment in conceptualizing, planning and Design of core infrastructure and managed service solutions to support mission critical customer Operations.
  • Experience with advanced network security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access control).
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Juniper JNCIA are required; CCNP or equivalent higher-level certifications are preferred.
  • Educational Qualification : BSC / Diploma
  • Have good research skills, should be an out of box thinker and must have ability to envision Services of the future over various platforms, including security, networking, AAN, cloud computing, etc.
  • Expertise on relevant standards, routing and switching equipment, tools, industry trends, and Enterprise managed SD WAN, VPN, LAN, WAN optimization, Security, Cloud Computing, and managed voice and Video services.
