The Inventory Manager role is based in Fort Myers, FL, within the Management category, and is responsible for developing and leading a scalable inventory management system that ensures material accuracy, optimized placement, and timely fulfillment across all operational locations.
In this position you will lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, provide training and development opportunities, and manage employee performance through clear expectations, regular feedback, and accountability, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
You will coordinate plant material deliveries and inventory distribution across regions, design and implement a company‑wide inventory management system, establish control procedures and documentation standards, analyze usage patterns to optimize stock levels, and support short‑term planning such as the "2‑Week Look Ahead" to align materials with project timelines.
As the primary point of contact for internal teams, you will partner with the Horticulture Procurement Team, operational leaders, and Fleet and Logistics leadership to align procurement strategy, demand forecasting, and transportation scheduling, while providing ongoing reporting on inventory turnover and logistics performance.
The role also requires enforcing all labor laws, safety policies, and procedures, assisting with safety investigations and corrective actions to maintain safe working conditions.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least five years of inventory or supply chain experience with two years in leadership, strong communication skills, independent decision‑making, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and ERP systems such as Acumatica, willingness to travel up to 50%, and a valid U.S. driver’s license meeting MVR requirements.
