Reviews customer specifications
Prepare end user documentation which meets the latest quality standards and end user requirement.
Responsible for on-time, on budget, quality of engineering packages for individual projects
Performs and Reviews mechanical calculations
Ensure project tracking in all stages with accurate data and documentation for future retrieval
Analyzes complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures
Support Customer service for spare parts sales and retrofit.
Work in close collaboration with the Chief Engineer & other stakeholders
Apply design judgements using the knowledge of Fits, Tolerances, Finish, Manufacturing methods and workshop practices.
May assist in development of design standards / guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures
Assists operations with manufacturing problems and implementation of low cost sourcing initiatives
Specifications for and mechanical design of Grinding products – Crushers, Ball Mills, Vertical Mills and Similar equipment used in a cement manufacturing industry, including design calculations, Sizing and documentation.
Make technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
Works on standardization, product improvement, and development efforts of product line (Value Enginering)
Release of deliverables meeting the defined quality norms while ensuring adherence to contractual / project specific requirements within the defined time frames
Travels to job sites and regional offices as required in support of equipment problems, installations, and sales efforts
Timely communication to all stakeholders.
Reviews and approves design drawings including 3D
Technical assistance to colleagues worldwide, suppliers and plant sites on time, technical discussion with clients.
Design and support state-of-the-art cement plant equipment, prepare necessary documentation covering everything from risk assessments, drawings, specifications, instructions, and design manuals.
Prepare/Update design manuals to be used for standard order handling
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
Supports technical development of members within the team
