Authors test reports and collects/documents necessary data to support development of reports.
Participates in design reviews and takes the lead in developing test plans to validate performance and design capability.
Reviews and amends short and long term plans for lab infrastructure to account for changing priorities and includes both capital and resources.
Assists in developing IP strategy with business unit stakeholders and actively contributes to IP generation.
Lead build effort for advanced engineering prototypes.
Manages lab resources (technicians) in the setup and safe execution of complex test programs at low and medium voltage (15 kV).
Executes and assumes responsibility for the safety aspects of laboratory activities and equipment to protect employees from injury in accordance with MESH requirements.

5 years of industry experience in the area of electrical testing
3 years experience in Medium Voltage or Low Voltage
Working with remote colleagues, self directed, effective written and verbal communications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Prior Management experience
Knowledge of traditional and state of the art test equipment.
Safe work practices in a medium voltage test environment.
Knowledge of power electronics
Hands on laboratory experience in a new product or research environment with working knowledge of power distribution systems.
Masters degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution
