Scaffold Builder

Description

• Carry, install, and erect rigging‑suspended and supported scaffold on customer sites
• Load and unload trucks in the warehouse
• Hoist, assemble, and disassemble scaffold platforms
• Perform deliveries, including loading and unloading flat‑bed trucks
• Collaborate with team to safely erect and dismantle various scaffold types
• Complete daily job‑site and internal paperwork requirements

Requirements

Sky Climber Access Solutions is seeking a Scaffold Builder for its Kenner location. Candidates must not be afraid of heights.

The position is full‑time, hourly non‑exempt, working Monday‑Friday from 7 am to 4 pm (hours may vary with workload). It is an in‑person role and requires pre‑employment testing, including a drug test, background check, physical exam, and MVR check.

Applicants must be able to carry two 50‑lb weights, be comfortable climbing stairs, ladders and working at heights, and have at least two years of experience erecting swing and supported scaffolds. A solid knowledge of OSHA scaffold regulations is required, and bilingual ability is a plus.

• Uncoil and lower electrical cords and wire ropes
• Lift two 50‑lb weights simultaneously
• Engage in physical work that frequently requires climbing stairs and ladders
• Work comfortably at heights
• Demonstrate extensive experience with swing and supported scaffolds
• Maintain good working knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding
• Possess a minimum of two years scaffold‑building experience at a reputable company
• Bilingual ability is a plus
