Support the governance process, ensuring designs and checks are completed within deadlines and fee estimates.
Assist in scoping and preparing Ground Investigations (GI), including determining techniques, drafting specifications, and supervising on-site work to ensure safety, data accuracy, and quality.
Assist in the preparation of geotechnical design briefs and performing analysis, design calculations for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, earth works and other ground engineering aspects.
Attend meetings and site visits with Geotechnical Design Engineer or Senior Design Engineer to discuss project-specific geotechnical requirements and solutions for tenders and projects.
Assist in preparing technical drawings, models, and schedules based on geotechnical designs and analyses.
Check design calculations completed by other team members or external consultants.
Contribute to ensuring compliance with the company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management standards.
Prepare Ground Investigation Reports (GIR), Geotechnical design Reports (GDR), perform foundation assessments based on GI data, providing design recommendations and summarizing findings for site conditions.
Take a proactive approach to your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your technical knowledge and stay updated with industry developments.
