Senior Architect / Project Architect

Description

• Direct and mentor project teams by providing clear instructions, redlines, and sketch details for others to execute in Revit.
• Manage and support permit submittals and agency reviews with Los Angeles–area AHJs and jurisdictions across Southern California.
• Develop, detail, and coordinate architectural systems for Type I buildings, including structure, envelope, life-safety, vertical circulation, and MEP integration.
• Lead the development of complex architectural projects from design development through construction documentation and construction administration.
• Contribute to internal standards, detailing approaches, and technical workflows within the office.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and construction issues, ensuring alignment with design intent, code requirements, and constructability.
• Oversee drawing quality, coordination, and consistency across large and multi-consultant drawing sets.
• Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, civil, façade, and specialty consultants.

Requirements

• Strong technical judgment, organization, and leadership presence
• Proven track record working with Los Angeles and Southern California jurisdictions, codes, and permitting processes
• Strong detailing skills, with the ability to sketch and clearly communicate architectural intent
• Demonstrated experience delivering Type I construction projects
• Korean language skills preferred but not required
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, including managing and overseeing large drawing sets
• Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, or large-scale residential projects
• Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Experience coordinating complex consultant teams and resolving technical issues
• Clear, direct communication style and comfort providing direction and making decisions
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
