Englobe is seeking a Senior Environmental Technologist to support a range of environmental assessment and remediation projects across Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. The successful candidate has solid field experience, enjoys mentoring others, thrives on variety, and takes pride in high‑quality, hands‑on work that makes a difference.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- University degree, technical diploma, or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or a related field.
- Consistent application of practical knowledge to achieve project objectives.
- Solid understanding of contaminated site assessment and management in Nova Scotia.
- Experience with federal client assignments (strong asset).
- Knowledge and ability to implement sampling techniques for soil, water, air, and building materials.
- Experience with GIS applications and technical specifications (asset).
- Initiative, problem‑solving ability, and direction for contractors.
- Strong attention to detail, note‑taking, and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and work outside regular business hours as required.
- Ability to travel regularly within Nova Scotia and occasionally throughout Atlantic Canada.
- Eligibility for security clearance.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
