Perform site visits, inspections, and preparation of reports relating to existing and new structures
Provide cost-effective structural foundation designs from conceptual design through to detail design, tender and construction by local codes and standards
Lead and mentor designers /drafters and less experienced engineers

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Canada directly related to foundation design
Knowledge and proficiency in Finite Element Analysis and good knowledge of related structural engineering software for analysis
RRSP match
Experience in the design of foundation for electrical power transmission lines and substations would be an asset. Specifically, knowledge and experience should include foundations (subgrade, driven pile, grillage, mat, caisson, helical) guy anchors (concrete block, helical, over-burden grouted, load testing, pull testing), concrete/grout (reinforcing steel, mixing, placing, sampling, testing)
Experience in seismic design and analysis would be an asset
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Structural Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural engineer
Registered Professional Engineer in Alberta
Project experience in foundation design for major infrastructure projects
