Thorough review of tender documentation to determine key information, e.g. project constraints which provide the foundation for tender programmes
Produce labour and plant schedules that reflect the nature of each individual project
Advise site team and/or senior management of areas of concern
Attend tender settlements and present the programme, preliminaries and logistical aspects
Produce phasing plans, traffic management plans and methodology diagrams to support tender reviews and quality questions
Meetings with subcontractors, designers and stakeholders to ensure accurate programme allowances, driving best value and innovative proposals
Liaise with the Bid/Technical Manager and tender teams and play a part in the successful conclusion of each tender opportunity
Contribute to the risk and opportunity schedule
Produce well-constructed and considered logic linked tender programmes built from first principle planning, with defined critical path and resource allocation
Develop skills of other planning staff
Attendance at site visits to ensure full understanding of proposed schemes

Experienced user of Microsoft Project (Primary) and Primavera P6 (Secondary)
Minimum 5 years’ site leadership experience within Civil Engineering
Good planning and organisational skills
Confidence in attending Client interviews, mid tender briefings etc
Experience planning a range of Civil Engineering Schemes - values £0.5m - £10m
